Meet Our Seminar Leaders | | |
|  | | David Caples, innkeeper, consultant and inn sales broker, is the workshop leader. David has a Master's Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. He and his wife, Susan, restored and opened a five-room bed and breakfast and created a resort management company. They currently own and operatee the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, an award-winning 25-room inn. Helen Elizabeth Cook, is an experienced innkeeper, lodging industry consultant and principal in Lodging Resources Partners and BedandBreakfastForSale.com. With 15 years experience in a corporate environment, Helen is a small business owner experienced in sales and marketing, human resources, product development and operations. She will guide you through the various vehicles available for finding the inn of your dreams. |

Aspiring Innkeeper Weekend includes:
- 24 hours of instruction and informal consulting with nationally recognized consultants and innkeepers, David Caples and Helen Cook.
- Course text, industry studies and handouts, Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion.
- Back-of-the-house tour of two prominent Savannah Inns.
- Question & answer session with Savannah Innkeepers.
- Choice of accommodations at the Hamilton-Turner Inn, AAA 4-diamond property and Select Registry member Inn.
- Meals include introductory dinner on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and beverages and snacks throughout the workshop.
- Workshop registration - $195/individual; $295/couple or partners registering together.
- Accommodations - $170 - $332 per night. Special rate available only to seminar participants.
